Plato’s Closet Assistant Manager | Hourly

Assistant Manager: Assist the District Manager and Owner on managing and promoting the business, including but not limited to buying, selling, pricing, sales, merchandising, loss prevention, assistance with staff recruitment, training, and development. Promote a high level of customer service and involvement, and continually strive for innovative solutions and alternatives in bettering the business.

 

MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Greet customers immediately, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner. Consider the stores best interest as well as the customers. Create an environment of healthy relationships, hard work, and accountability.

Assist with buying, selling, pricing and merchandising by adhering to merchandising standards, evaluating market demands, adhering to buying plan, managing stock and sales levels, and meeting or exceeding store sales goals and purchase goals. Inventory management which would include replenishments, storage runs if needed, floorset changes, and constant review of backstock needs/requirements. Racks are full, Backstock List & backstocking the correct categories, correct seasons are out on the floor, floorset Changes, markdowns and donations. 

Assist with determining personnel requirements based on season and store schedule; assist with staff recruitment and interviewing. Train, discipline, and evaluate current staff as assigned throughout all stages of their development. Conduct regular employee performance reviews. Training/Hiring/Performance Reviews, and weekly Schedule.

Oversee Keyholders duties/performance, daily/monthly responsibilities, opening/closing procedures, emailed recaps, replenishments, customer situations, conduct performance reviews with keyholders, verify all aspects of their work.

Assist in the establishment and monitoring of appropriate security procedures including computer cash register, open/close procedures, video footage, safe counts, and daily/monthy reports. Reports include AIPW, UIPR, AGED, Daily Reports, Month end Reports, Royalty, and the Closet Book.

Promote and role model superior customer service to all customers, every day. Insure that all store associates understand and support the pursuit of superior service. The point of contact for employees and emergency situations.

Shift Lead/Keyholder | Hourly

Greet customers immediately, determine their needs, and handle all transactions in a professional and enthusiastic manner. Consider the stores best interest as well as the customers. Create an environment of healthy relationships, hard work, and accountability. Must work a minimum amount of hours according to stores needs, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must have a flexible schedule. 

Assist with buying, selling, pricing and merchandising by adhering to merchandising standards, evaluating market demands, adhering to buying plan, managing stock and sales levels, and meeting or exceeding store sales goals and purchase goals. Inventory management which would include replenishments, storage runs if needed, floorset changes, and constant review of backstock needs/requirements. Racks are full, Backstock List & backstocking the correct categories, correct seasons are out on the floor, floorset Changes, markdowns, and other duties as required.
